Venice and the islands

One of the advantages of a holiday in Jesolo is definitely an opportunity to visit the nearby city of Venice and the marvellous islands of the Lagoon (especially Murano, Burano and Torcello). The main city on the Lagoon is an essential destination for all those who love art, history and culture: an open-air museum where you can admire splendid masterpieces at every turn.

Venice can be easily reached both by car and public transport. A particularly atmospheric trip is on the vaporetto (water bus), which sails frequently from Punta Sabbioni to cross the Lagoon and arrive directly in St. Mark’s Square.
